These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of PREP (contact: prep.app.contact@gmail.com). PREP is built and maintained by an independent developer. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use PREP.
PREP is a tool for tracking food, planning meals, and monitoring nutrition and weight. It is not a medical service. The calorie targets, macronutrient suggestions, and nutritional values shown in the app are estimates intended for general informational purposes. They are not medical, dietary, or health advice, and they are not a substitute for guidance from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified professional. If you have a medical condition, an eating disorder, are pregnant, or have any doubt about whether a dietary change is right for you, consult a professional before relying on the app.
Nutritional data in the food library is curated with care, but food products change and errors are possible. Always check the label of the actual product you are eating where accuracy matters to you.
You need an account to use PREP, created using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One account is for your personal, non-commercial use; the profiles feature exists so you can track yourself and, if you choose, one other person you share meal prep with, not to resell access.
New PREP accounts include 14 days of free access, starting from the day you first sign in.
This free period is managed entirely by PREP, not by Google Play. It is not a Google Play free trial offer, and no subscription is created, and no payment method is required, during these 14 days.
When the 14 days end, the app locks until you subscribe. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of the free period. If you decide not to subscribe, your account and data remain safe and untouched, but you will not be able to use the app until you do.
PREP offers an optional monthly subscription. Prices are shown before you purchase. If you choose to subscribe, billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Google Play: your subscription renews automatically every month at the then-current price, until you cancel, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, except where the law requires otherwise. We may change the subscription price in the future; any change will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By starting the subscription immediately, you consent to the service beginning at once and acknowledge that the withdrawal right is lost once the service has been fully provided, in line with EU consumer law. Statutory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its backend. Do not use the app for anything unlawful. Do not upload content you have no right to use. Custom foods and recipes you create remain yours; by saving them you simply allow us to store and display them back to you.
We work to keep PREP available and improving, but it is provided "as is". We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. If we ever discontinue PREP entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or note down your data.
You can stop using PREP and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, after warning where reasonable.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it, since subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play, separately from your PREP account. See our Privacy Policy for how to cancel.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence. Beyond that, our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service, and the app's estimates are used at your own judgement as described in section 1.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the EU, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may delete your account.
